She grinned, pulling her hands away. So he did not want her to do that, then she would not go against his wishes.
"Very well. I will never do that again."
She rolled her eyes at his next words, looking up at him with a smirk. He would find a way? Well she was sure that would be interesting.
"You would? I am terrified at the thought."

Robin frowned, rolling his eyes at her actions and finding that he was actually feeling vaguely offended.
"You are a tease, Marian. You expect me to behave, then when I try, you hold it against me."
He pushed her hands away, stepping back and crossing his arms. "Don't worry, I have no intention of trying anything now."

"How were you not behaving when all I was doing was trying to relax you more?"
She sighed when he pushed her away, taking a step away of her own. She mirrored his body language, her arms crossed over her chest, the ring glistening in the sunlight.
"Well good!"

Robin scoffed. "See? You can't help yourself. You insist on making this all about me, judging my actions. What about you, Marian? Are you incapable of accepting that the things you do might have consequences?"
She really was blind if she could not see what her actions did to him, and how hard he had to try and ignore it.
"Good! I'm glad we have that settled then."

"What consequences!?"
She shook her head at him, not believing what he was saying. What exactly were the consequences of rubbing at his back, trying to calm him?
"So am I!"

Robin looked at her as if what she had just said was the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard. "What do you think, Marian? Open your eyes for once and stop being so ignorant!"
He rolled his eyes at her when she continued the back and forth, disregarding the fact that he had done it. "What are you, five?"

Marian frowned more, looking at him. What did he mean by that? After a few moments, she remembered what nearly happened between them not long after the last time she done such a simple act.
"Oh..."
Marian rolled her eyes at him, her eyebrow raised.
"Yes I am the child," she said sarcastically.

He looked skyward, an exaggerated expression of relief on his face, before looking back at her. "Yes. Oh."
Her sarcastic tone infuriated him. "Yes, you are! Who's the one continuing this stupid argument?"

"I did not realise I could have that type of...consequence on you," she said with a blush.
Rolling her eyes at his words, she stepped closed.
"Clearly you are since you just continued it there!"

Robin looked irritated. "Well what do you expect, Marian? You're the woman I love, did you expect no reaction when you put your hands all over me?"
He just rolled his eyes, looking at her blankly and ignoring the next part of what she said. If she wanted it to stop, he would stop it.

Marian avoided his eyes for a moment, letting his words soak through her. Smirking, she looked up at him through her eyelashes. Well that was something she thought she would never hear him say such things.
"Really?"

Sighing in frustration, Robin simply looked at her. Her apparent disbelief was just odd, what on earth did she think would happen?
It occurred to him then that she was not in the same position as him. She was, in fact, rather new to all of this, having never experienced it before. His expression softened.
"Yes. Really."

"That is..."
Amazing? Scary? She did not know. She was still in disbelief, but now she thought about it, she remember her hands at the ties of his trousers. She dropped her eyes to exactly where his ties were, remembering what she had felt just before they had been interrupted by Guy.

Robin saw her drop her gaze, holding in the laughter at the apparent shock on her face. Laughing now would not be wise. And yet seeing such a reaction to something which to him seemed so...normal, well, he could not help but be somewhat amazed himself.
He stepped closer to her, putting his finger under her chin so she met his gaze. "Don't look so worried, Marian. We both know where we stand on this."

She had not noticed him stepping closer, lost in her own thoughts for a moment. He tipped her chin up, her eyes slowly dragging up his body, as she met his eyes. Biting her lip, she nodded, smiling a little.
"I best keep my hands off you or you will no longer be able to keep to waiting," she said with a grin, holding her hands in the air and away from him.
