Hearing the warning tone in her voice, Robin reluctantly dropped his hand.
"Marian, you are a tease, you know that?" Shifting so he was sitting further back and no longer touching her, Robin let his head fall back to hit the trunk of the small tree behind him.
His actions, and her response up until now, had only fueled his desire. Somehow he thought he would be needing another cold swim in the river.

Checking one last time that Guy was long gone, she turned so she was sitting facing him, pulling her sleeve up when she realised she was showing far too much.
"Robin we were caught in the moment. A moment that is long gone now."
She looked at him apologetically, feeling slightly guilty for taking things so far only to loose her courage when he tried to rekindle what happened.

Robin sighed, looking down at his hands.
"A moment that is long gone now..." he repeated, mimicking her words. He was beyond frustrated, and whilst he would relent, knowing she was not willing to go down that road any longer, it did not mean that he would not be bothered by it. He felt it only fair that he be allowed his time to sulk, even if it did make him appear as a child.

Sighing, she knelt forward, kissing him gently. She could feel her dress dropping slightly, knowing that she had to tighten it soon before he got more ideas.
"You are such a baby, Robin."
She said it with the most affection she could, grinning at him when she gave him another light kiss before pulling back.

Robin looked up at her, indignant. "I am not a baby!" He could only frown when she kissed him. Kissing was not even close to what he wanted from her now.
Scowling, he let his head fall back to rest against the tree again. "I am just...frustrated. That is all. I could kill Gisborne for his timing."
There was no real heat in his words, he knew he did not really mean them. He was just annoyed at how things had turned out.

She couldn't help but laugh at his protest. All evidence was pointing to the fact that he was indeed acting like a spoilt child who had been told no. Reaching forward, she cupped his cheek.
"Robin, one day soon. When we have no risk of being interrupted. I promise, one day soon I will give myself to you."
She hoped he believed her, desperately hoped so.

"There's always going to be some risk involved, Marian. When might we have to wait until? When the king returns? When the Sheriff is defeated?"
Robin leant forward, his head resting against her shoulder. "I am not so strong as you, Marian." He would wait for her forever, and he knew she knew that, but right now he needed something, anything but her dismissive words.

So he needed a time? A situation when he knew she would be more than willing, despite the risk. Biting her lip, she did not need to think of one. Kissing his forehead, she whispered against his ear.
"You know when. When we are married, together properly. Until then, I am sorry, but I will always question my decision."

Robin nodded against her shoulder, not lifting his head. "When we are married. You are right, Marian. I'm sorry I was so insistent, that was not fair on you."
He wrapped his arms around her, wanting nothing more than to have her close. It was not the most comfortable position to be in, but he didn't particularly care at the moment.

"I should not have went along with it for so long."
Marian pulled him close when his arms went around her. She couldn't help but squeeze him tight, holding him as close as she could. It was not just him that found comfort in holding him so close to her.

Robin's eyes fell closed as her arms wrapped around him. He turned his head, so his cheek was pressed against her shoulder.
"I love you, Marian." The words were quiet, nothing more than a whisper. He had been such a fool for waiting so long to tell her in the first place. He should have told her every day. And now that he had, he didn't think he would ever be able to stop.

Marian smiled, her arms holdin him closer at his words. She did not think she would ever tire of hearing them.
"I love you too."
Ginning, she ran a hand down his back, kissing his shoulder.
"As much as I hate saying this should you not put on your shirt?" she teased, giving him a cheeky grin.

Robin laughed, sitting back.
"Worried someone might see you with a half naked outlaw?" Even as he teased her, he pulled the shirt on, smirking at her when his head appeared again.
"Marian, where did the rest of my clothes go?" She had been the one to pick them up, he had only had time to grab his weapons. Right now he was down a scarf, but also a rather well liked top.

As he requested about the rest of his clothing, she bit back a grin. She had hid them within the bushes, part of her hoping that maybe he would only keep on his thin shirt which was still slightly damp from earlier.
"Did you not pick them up? I thought you only had your shirt on."

Robin looked confused. "No, you did. I saw you. I got my bow." He pointed to it as he spoke, where it was lying beside his sword in the dirt.
He gave her his best 'I know what you're up to' look. "Marian, really. Are you a child? Honestly..."
Truth be told, sitting there in his damp shirt he was getting cold, and he really hated being cold. Not that he'd ever admit that to anyone, of course. It was hardly something worthy of complaint.
