Robin rolled his eyes at the polite back and forth he was witnessing between the two of them.
"Do the true personalities of noble ladies hide away in each other's presence?"
He hated false pretenses and fake sincerity. It made things so boring.
"What happened to all that teasing, Mary? Surely not left in the cave. Don't be scared of Marian, she doesn't bite." He looked at Marian, as if considering. "Well, not hard."

Mary laughed, "Oh, teasing it is you want? Does Marion know of how your ego is currently trying to invade the Middle East? I'm certain it will conquer within days of it's arrival. They shall never know what happened."
"I know of the shortage, and I myself have been trying my best to help. But we cannot have the outlaws who help the starved, be to weak to help. Whatever you do not eat you can give to the people."
Mary laughed, "I suppose so. It is quite funny that two nobles want a life in the forest."

Her words forced a loud laugh from him. "Trying to invade, Mary? Trying? You are mistaken. It has already succeeded."
His attention was caught by what she said about doing what she could. "You've unknowingly brought up the entire purpose of all of this, Mary. Now I don't have to spend time trying to find a way to do as much. Well done."

Marian listened to Mary's words, and instantly took a like to her. She seemed to think in a similar way to her, and she knew that would come in handy. But part of her worried that with her having the same spirit, and Robin clearly liking her enough to bring her to camp, that there would be some sort of competition with her. But the weight of Robin's hand in hers settled her for a moment.
"I think we shall get along well, Mary."

When Marian spoke of them getting along, Robin took a step back, though he didn't release her hand, eyeing she and Mary in mock fright.
"Oh, this can not be good. I don't trust that look in your eyes, Marian. Introducing you two was a big mistake, I can tell."

Marian grinned, turning to look at him
"Be afraid, Robin. You will soon find us both turning against you."
Laughing, she stepped forward, kissing him gently to show that she was only pretending. Well, possibly only pretending. Only time would tell.

After she had kissed him, Robin backed away a few steps with his hands held out in front of himself as if warding off evil, laughing.
"Oh, I am afraid. You are dangerous, Marian. I am no match for such skill and deviance. And don't even get me started on Mary. She is nearly as frightening as you."

Mary cackled, "Two women of liked mind, sure terrify any slightly," She smirked, rolling her eyes."Intelligent man."
Mary tossed a rock at Robin, with excellent accuracy it thumped him in the shoulder, "Frightening you say?" She covered her mouth away from Robin so only Marion could see, though she said it loud enough so Robin could hear as well. "He hasn't ever looked in the mirror before has he?"

Giggling, Marian repeated Mary's actions, speaking loud enough so he could hear.
"It is really that obvious?"
Grinning, she looked at Robin, clearly amused by the situation they were in. Oh she definitely liked this Mary girl. She could do with someone like this to talk to.

"Well, that was just uncalled for really." Robin looked at Mary, rolling his eyes at her childish behaviour when the rock thumped into his shoulder.
Then when they both pretended to whisper to each other, he put his hands on his hips, shaking his head. "This is very nice, this."

"Was it not you, five minutes ago, asking where my wit and teasing had gone? And now you complain when it returns." She shook her head, tsking
Mary laughed, "I do feel bad for you Robin, this could make your camp all the more interesting." She approached Marion, hooking her arm with Marion's.
"Come, we must plan more ways to torment Robin." She winked at Robin, with a proud look on her face.

Marian laughed as Mary latched on to her arm, knowing that Robin may genuinely be worried now. She never really had female friends, so this was new to her, but she was certainly enjoying it.
"That is far too easy a task to complete."
She knew that, having tried to torment him many a time, she already knew what worked and what did not.

Robin rolled his eyes at the pair, giving an exasperated sigh.
"Fine. I shall let you win just this once. Do your worst, evil temptresses." He held his arms out, giving them his best 'I'm waiting' look.
It was good to hear Marian laughing. He only wished she would do it more often. Introducing these two, whilst being terrible for his ego, might prove worthwhile.

Mary walked only a few paces away, "You will be the first woman who shares my ideas, and that I can openly talk to." She chuckled, with a grin. "Marion, tell me why you have come here, I would believe Robin, is one reason." She shot a glare over her shoulder at Robin, giving an almost vicious smile.
"I myself was an Earl's daughter and a late Countess's daughter. My people were terrible mistreated and I started to help them. I fell in love, and in our pursuit to save people we didn't try to save ourselves. He was hung."

"Just one reason, Mary? I am behind anyone's decision to do anything, I'll have you know."
He crossed his arms when Mary spoke to Marian. Some thanks he got for introducing them, now his presence was practically ignored. Robin hated being ignored.
