Rigoletto drew back light on the rains of his black stallion, he watched the men that had been wanted run for the forested. He had some of Prince John’s men with him, the leader of the group or at least the one that was under him came to his side & asked what should be done. Many of the guards did not want to enter the forested for they knew to do so was to enter what many called Robin Hoods territory.
Rigoletto spoke “We fallow” With that he light tapped his horse sides, sending him forward fasted. If they moved fasted, they still had a chance to catch then men. You could hear the pounding of the hooves of the horses, as they moved into the forested & moved after the men.
Rigoletto lead the group, he lead like a leader one that would go to death to lead his men into battle & did not fear doing what was asked or right for his country. Perhaps some would say that, if he was not working for Prince John others, still might see the quality it gusted as not so easily spotted.

Robin walked amongst the trees, his bow clasped loosely in his hand. His thoughts were occupied with all that was happening. The villagers faced near starvation, and he and his gang were unable to help them as much as he knew they should. All the while, Marian remained trapped in the castle, and he was rarely able to see her, much less speak with her. Reaching the base of a large tree he often frequented when needing time alone with his thoughts, Robin slid down to sit at its base, placing his bow gently on the earth beside him.
Robin's eyelids became heavy as the sun warmed him where it flickered through the trees. He was almost asleep when he heard it. The constant, rhythmic sound of a horse galloping. And there was more than one. As soon as he was on his feet, Robin had fitted an arrow to the string of his bow, in readiness for whatever he may have to face, his back pressed close to the tree as he considered his options. He was quite a distance from camp, and could not very well alert the others now without leading this possible threat directly to them.
No, he would face this challenge alone, for now at least.

Rigoltto fallowed the villagers, it mattered little on his thoughts one right & wrong & what should or should not be allowed or to happen. He knew well to question orders given by the Prince could not be over looked or simply dismissed, they where gaining on the villagers & Rigoletto knew there was an open area just ahead it meant the take where there’s & they would use it well, as they cleared the trees & moved to start to gallop across the flat open area that was rare with in the forest. With this moment Rigoletto tapped his horses sides to set him into a faster pace, easily passing the villagers who form the looks of it where tired form there run already, this only meant they could finish this with little trouble, with the troops behind him Rigoletto with the men encircled the group forcing them to stop, the guards appeared to be ready to kill the villagers, one of the men though to try it only to be hit by the Black Knight & sent to the ground below.
With that you could see the helm move as Rigoletto looked at the other guards before he spoke “Any one else wish to join him?” With no answer he spoke again “We bring them back alive, as ordered” The Black Knight had never failed at any order given & was feared by many likely because of his reputation that had spread like wild fire of him being out for blood, there where only a few rumors now that even whispered that the Black Knight had once been a hero of the people, much like Robin Hood was now.
The men nodded before moving to do as they where ordered, taking the villagers & starting to lead them away, the man that had been knocked from his saddle slowly got up but, did not think to get back into the saddle as if fearful the Black Knight only place him back on the ground or worse.
There was a stillness in the air & with that feeling Rigoletto felt uneasily, it was not the forest its self but, those that where said to hunted it. He did no fear Robin Hood or his men but, he knew well that it would not be good at the moment to press luck & go looking for more trouble in such a degree.
Robin Hood would be caught with time but, not at the moment & not by him ether or at least not yet, to hunt for such a man meant he had to do it when he had ether finished his orders or had none that was very rare any more. Few knew it but, perhaps one a priest that knew that the Black Knight had helped the poor in his own way, it had happened only by chance that the priest saw the Knight drop money off for the poor but, he had seen & Rigoletto knew it was not very good for him but, at the priest words that he would not tell anyone Rigoletto left it at that & with out any trouble or another word left.

Robin watched the scene unfold before him, eyes burning with anger. What were these men up to this time? As some of the men rounded up the villagers, and began leading them to the edge of the clearing, Robin made his move.
Taking aim with his bow, he fired three arrows in rapid succession, just inches in front of the men who held the villagers. Once the men had let go of them in shock, the villagers ran for the trees. To discourage them from following, Robin fired more arrows at their feet.
Watching the man atop the black horse, Robin could easily discern that he was the one in charge. Firing a final arrow from his position, Robin aimed it straight at the ground between the hooves of the horse. That done, he moved fast from his location, changing position so he was now amongst the trees directily behind his foes. He could do little to help the villagers alone, but hoped they had got a good start.

Rigoletto saw that all was going well that is so far, that did not normal happen but, on a few times. All of a sudden he heard the sound of arrows the sound was light but, Rigoleto had been in many battles & such a sound was very common on the battle field, to the point that one did not easily forget such a sound. The helm moved as Rigoletto moved to see the source of the sound, of course when his eyes found the shadow that fired the arrows he found the figure sent an arrow to land between his horse’s fount hooves, his horse steeped back startled by the shot. Rigoletto;s his eyes narrowed as he saw the shadow move, his helm moved again as he noticed now that the villagers where running once more, he was also quick to see his men where not going after them he looked at him as he spoke “Do not just stand there, go after them & do not return with out them” His last words where a threat that they best, keep to bringing them back or else. As the men moved to do as ordered, Rigoletto moved to look to where the shadow of the person might have been, he was ready for if something should happen.

As the man on the black horse ordered them, his men ran towards the trees in the direction the villagers had run. Before they reached them, Robin fired several more arrows into the trunks of the trees directly in front of them. It would not stop them completely, but he could see it slowed them some, giving the villagers more precious time to stay ahead.
Turning his attention back to the man atop the horse, Robin fired another arrow, this time into the man's saddle, inches from his leg.
Stepping from behind the tree, Robin moved forward to stand a short distance in front of the horse, bow drawn in front of him, ready to fire.
"Tell me, my friend, why you feel you must terrorise innocent villagers as if it were sport."

The men slowed but, they moved to fallow the villagers but, that would mean that Rigoletto & Robin would be left alone, as Robin had shot more of his arrows Rigoletto moved to draw his sword ready for a fight, of course he then felt the hit of the arrow as it went into his saddle close to his leg with his other hand he moved to snap part of the arrow off & pull any of it out that he could. He had got about as far as drawing his sword when, Robin steeped from behind the tree, a short distance from him his bow drawn, on him his eyes narrowed behind the helm & even more so when he heard Robin’s words “Friend, since when are we friends & perhaps it is simply that sport” He knew that would not be a good answer but, he also knew that he had to keep his true reason for him being here.

Robin raised an eyebrow, though his face remained in shadow under his hood.
"You admit to me you hunt innocent people for sport? You are right, then, we are certainly not friends. Tell me, is this sport your own, or do you hunt for another? The sheriff, or perhaps the Prince?"
Taking another step forward, Robin kept his arrow aimed directly at the stranger. "This game is over today, for you at least. I suggest you leave Sherwood. Your men I will deal with soon enough."

“I said that I hunt for sport but, what makes you think that they are so innocent?” Rigoletto challenged back, he was sure few would dare to challenge Robin but, here Rigoletto was doing so. The hand that held the sword did not move to strike, he was not that much a fool. “What makes you so interested?” Rigoletto, did not move as Robin moved closer at his words he made no move to leave, it was more that he did not like the idea of being shot I the back.

Robin watched the stranger closely. He could see the man's hand was on the hilt of his sword, and so remained standing a safe enough distance that the man could not strike without actually throwing the sword.
"Even if they have some kind of guilt, no man should be chased as if they are dogs. Where is the justice in that?"
Slowly, Robin circled the man's horse, keeping his bow drawn and ready. He was looking for anything that might identify the man's allegiance, and yet could find nothing.
"I shall make you a deal. You give me your name, and I let you leave with your life."

Rigoletto heard his words, he could not help but, smirk even if Robin could not see it he spoke “Justice is in the eyes of the be holder & you speak bold words for one that is no more then a thief & bandit them self” He did not like the idea of being circled by Robin, more so it was harder to defend him self in such a moment, at Robin’s second words he looked at him “My life would be worthless & not worth living if I broke to one such as you”

Robin laughed at the other man. "True, I am now an outlaw. Though I would take that ten times over than being someone who kills for the sake of killing. Or perhaps you do it for money?"
Robin moved back to his position in front of the stranger. "Oh? Very well then, keep your secrets. You still must leave. Now."
Raising his bow slightly, Robin fired an arrow so that it flew past the man's head, close to his neck.
"That is the last warning I give you. Leave."

His laugh only was more a slap to his face, he did not miss his first words on the life he had chosen & with that he spoke quick & easy “So be it” He said this after Robin had finished speaking, did he think he was not one to be stopped Rigoletto knew that he could fall just like any other man yet, he did not fear it as many did & this is what gave him an advantacge over many others.
He felt even more of an insulted as the arrow was sent again at him, coming close to his helm & neck; he was growing old of this game of this battle of will. If the man Robin wished for a fight, then he would give him one with out a second thought or sight that he would do anything but, leave he tapped his horses sides but, unlike turning & leaving as many would think the movement made the black stallion rear & advance forward, the move likely would off set Robin for it was one that was more you get out of the way or you got hit.
If the move worked he would dismount, taking his shield with him he did not wish to place his horse in such danger & yet he knew that in that moment before it had been his only choice.

Robin had no choice but to move backwards quickly as the horse reared, almost tripping over his feet. He had not been expecting that.
The sudden change forced him to release the tension on his bow, the arrow hanging loosely from where it rested against both the string and his fingers, no longer posing any kind of threat.
Hastily drawing his sword, Robin brought the curved blade up defensively, protecting himself from what was an inevitable attack from the other man.

Rigoletto watched Robin as he had backed up, to avoid being harmed but, he also knew that once he had placed him self on foot even with being a good swords man with the armor it would slow him down some. How ever it would not stop him from fighting Robin, his temper flickered because of what he was being accused off, of course he had heard them before but, that did not change that for once he would prove that he was one that if they chose could match many in skill & strange. How ever, the question still was there if Robin would not kill him or have his men did it for him should he lose, this fight.
Rigoletto had been noble enough to allow Robin to draw his sword but, he moved to stick for him aiming first for his shoulder then his opposite leg, why keeping his shield close knowing he could always those it later should he not need it.
