Robin shifted, his head turning towards the sound of her voice, still caught in sleep. Both his arms slid up, his hands resting haphazardly either side of his head as his knee lifted off the bed, his foot scraping along the blanket before lowering again, his mouth opening as he spoke silent words in his dream.
"I want...Marian, I..."

She watched him moving about, wanting to try and do something. She was right above him, could feel his movements on the bunk. She reached forward, cupping his cheek, worried that he was having some sort of nightmare.
"What do you want my love?" she whispered, wanting him to wake up and tell her what was wrong.

He turned his head, pressing his face further into her touch, could recognise the feel of it even in his sleep. His head turned back out of her hold as he arched off the bed before settling again, one of his hands falling back to land on his stomach.
"Marian..."

She frowned when he moved out of her hold, thinking that even in his sleep he pulled away from her. Then, eyes wide, she saw his body lift from the bed, pressing against her. But as soon as she recovered from the sudden closeness, he was settled, her name falling from his lips again. Something told her this was not necessarily a bad dream.
"Rob...Robin?"

"Mmm..." It was half an enquiring noise, half a pleased sound. One of his legs stretched out as the other bent flat against the blanket beneath him, his whole body stretched out, his hand grabbing at the blanket beside him whilst his other hand stayed resting on his stomach.
His mouth opened and closed wordlessly before he went still again.

Her eyebrows raised at the tone in his voice, knowing that was far from a general moan. She looked down at his hands, his fist grasping at the blankets. Then he was still, and she kept her eyes on him, taking a moment to think. After thinking over everything that had happened, she pulled away a little.
He couldn't be dreaming...could he? Dreaming such a vivid...She shook her head, taking a deep breath. She was imagining it. But she couldn't get it out of her head, hearing him say he wanted her. What if he did not mean her comfort.
"Robin," she said quietly, her hand going to cover the hand on his stomach, squeezing it gently.

Robin's hand slid higher on his stomach as he woke to the feeling of a hand squeezing his fingers. He blinked sleepily, half open eyes landing on Marian's face looking down at him.
"Marian? What...are you okay?" He couldn't work out why she was waking him. It felt like only a moment ago that she had been telling him he should sleep.

When his eyes slowly opened, she looked down at him, slightly confused. She still was not sure what happened. Her had refused to leave his, her eyes searching.
"Sorry you...you kept saying you wanted me. I thought you were having a bad dream."
Part of her hoped he was not and there was some other explanation.

Robin blinked slowly, still half asleep. He rubbed a hand over his face, looking up at her in confusion.
"I said I wanted you?"
It took him a moment, but then his mind caught on, and he laughed quietly. "Oh." Well, that wasn't exactly something he needed her seeing.

At his reaction, she raised her eyebrow. It all seemed pointing to one type of dream. His reaction now, the moans, the arching and the grabbing onto the blankets. Slowly, she ran her finger against his nose.
"Robin of Locksley were you...dreaming about me?" she could not help the smirk on her face, her tone slightly seductive.

Robin was unsuccessful in his attempt to stop the grin, glancing away from her briefly, only slightly embarrassed. "Maybe."
He looked back at up at her, laughing. "It's not like I did it on purpose. I'm completely innocent," he reasoned, with no trace of remorse. Still, it was slightly disconcerting knowing she had seen him dream like that.

"Such a shame you are ill," she said with a teasing glance.
She found her hand trailing up his chest, before it lowered, resting just above where his trousers started. She felt so good, for a moment, knowing that in his dreams he reacted in such a way to her. It eased her slightly. Leaning down, she placed her head at the side of his.
"Do not be embarrassed...we all have dreams like that," she whispered, a lot of meaning behind it.

"Such a shame," he agreed with a smirk, as her hand rested above his trousers. He had had dreams like that about her many times before. The first time Much had woken him because he had been so loud still ranked right up there as one of his more embarrassing moments.
"Is that right?" He asked her, laughing. "And you would know, because..."
Well, only fair. She had seen him have his dream. She could tell him about hers.

Marian grinned when he questioned her, kissing his neck gently before pulling back to whisper against his ear again. It was easier telling him this close, after all it meant all she had to do as look at the pillow.
"Because I have experienced them myself."

He laughed, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pretending to consider it.
"Oh really? And who do you dream about, Marian?" He said it just as quietly by her ear, his mouth moving close to her ear. "I hope I like the answer." He pressed a kiss to her neck just below her ear, waiting for her answer.
