Talia, being a bit of a firebrand, stood up to the guards and expressed her outrage. The guards decided to teach her a lesson by killing her father before her eyes. Guilt-ridden, she fled into the forest. On the verge of stavation a handmaiden from Nottignham had been passing by. She took pity on Talia and decided to sneak her into the castle. Talia became a handmaiden then under her mentors teaching. She had a brief love affair with on of the castle guards but ended when she realised he was just as cruel as any of the other guards who work for the Sheriff, though they still hold a spark for each other. She has learnt from the past that opinions must be kept silent and to play by the code. Talia serves the ladies of Nottignham castle and keeps a watchful eye on things.

roleplay sample ,
Talia strolled through Nottingham Castle taking in the sights. She was under current orders to deliver some sheets to a guest. Just then a man came running past. A lady was yelling in a high pitched tone, "THIEF!" Talia dropped the sheets and ran after the man. She pulled the dagger she kept in her boot and held against his neck. He let out a whimper of fear. "Give me what you stole," she snarled. Immediately, he dropped a valuable looking necklace into her hand. She looked at the man and saw that he was a meager peasant who was looking for something valuable to trade for food. "Go, and do not come back here. Trust me, this is not worth your life." She handed him a few coins. "Run," she whispered. He ran off. Just then a crowd was forming in the courtyard looking for the thief. She hid behind one of the collumns and dropped the necklace onto the ground. She walked off as if she was just delivering the sheets. Behind her someone called, "I found the necklace!" Talia continued to walk away, the crowd was unaware the handmaiden and just prevented a thieving, and continued her duty to deliver the sheets.
