It was just after mid day the spring sun was at it peak warming the icy forest below and sending angle like beams of light threw the leaves. Much had been left with Anya, the newest member of the gang to do that morning's food drop offs which included the drop off at Locksley and Clun which where always a magnet for trouble. To make things worse he was with Anya who so far also seemed to attract trouble mostly because of her inability to just walk away from an obviously dangerous situation. This may have been the reason for the un easy bubbling in the pit of his stomach.
This was the first drop off of the day and of far Anya, the notorious misbehavior had found it in her power to stay out of trouble. Maybe one of the more dangerous drop off points , the third drop of was situated on the great north road half i mile in to the forest in the direction of Nettlestown and it was mostly used by some of the poorer inhabitance. Over the winter more and more villagers of nettlestown had appeared at the north road at drop off time and the Outlaws had to turn some of them away empty handed not having enough to hand out. It was heart breaking watching as hungry family's turned and made there way back down the hill to wards nettles stown there hopes totally deflated, Much hated it.
"And Small foules maken melodie,That slepen alle night with open eye". Much sang quietly to himself as he passed slowly back and forward trying to keep his spirits up "So priketh hem nature in hir corages;Than longen folk to gon on pilgrimages". It had been said many a time by meny a person that Much did not have the best singing voice, even Eve had said it. This however was not enough to stop Much who's head was filled to the brim with songs which he would heartily sing out to boos and heckles mostly coming from Robin who had had to put up with his singing for years.

Anya's small but proportioned body was resting on the first sturdy branch of an large tree on the road side. It was warmer that the previous days making it feel like spring had finale reached the forest and winter had officially passed. Anya was dressed like a boy which was really necessary when you live in the forest, dresses lovely as they are snag easily and trail along the ground so keeping them clean would cause to much hassle. Her fair hair hung in long unbruised curls framing her pale porcelain face that was flushed thanks to the cold breeze which blew every so often.
Much was singing and not in tune. The song he sang was unfamiliar and sounded very outdated so Anya grew tired of it very fast. "Much if your going to sing sing something better" she moaned laying down on the tree branch, her legs hanging down in the air. She was tired very tired having not sleep well the night before thanks to little Johns snoring that seemed to be never ending. Anya swore to her self that if he didn't stop the snoring soon she would be forced to cut off hit nose, it wouldn't go down well in the camp but alt least she would be able to sleep though the night.
"Where are they they should have been here ages ago" Anya said springing down lightly from the branch and walking Much's side. Never in her time with the gang had she come to a drop off point and had no one turn up usually they had to Turn people away empty handed."Do you suppose somethings happened?"

“What would you like me to sing?” he said still scanning the forest for any minute sign that some one was coming. The forest today was still and strangely beautiful unlike its usual gloominess mixed with the air of danger. Today the songs of the birds filled the trees and light scurrying of mice and other small forest creatures could be herd passing from one place to another and if some one were to draw a picture of its current start it would look like something from a fairy tale.
“I know just the one” he said a wide grin on his face the kind of grin a person wore when they new they where about to annoy some one. “Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen Robin Hood, Robin Hood, with his band of men Feared by the bad, loved by the good Robin Hood, Robin Hood, Robin Hood “His singing voice was loud and animated and his arms moved to the words of his song. The song was born on a particularly damp cold day when the spirit of the camp was low the merry men had loved it at first when they had an amount of mead in there bellies and heartily joined in. As the weeks passed on they grew tired of Muchs repetitive singing of the song and it became and instant annoyance. Seeing as Anya was new to the group and had not heard the song quite as much as the other he thought it all right to take this chance to sing it once more.
“He called the greatest archers to a tavern on the green .They vowed to help the people of the King They handled all the trouble on the English country scene And still found plenty of time to sing”After the second verse he stopped singing and placed his hand on his hips in one of his signature posses and sighed. He wasn’t sure what they should do, what would robin want them to do?
“Perhaps no one needs us today?” he said sounding unconvinced by his own words” I think it better that we wait just in cass and after all it is not a bad day for a wait. We can work on your sword play … you do need it.”

Anya's smiled soon turned to a light chuckle as she watched Much singing away happily out of tune. She thought better of mentioning the fact he cant sing as it was brought up so often and would no doubt dampen his light hearted mood. When asked what she would like him to sing Anya's mind became blank not able to plunk a name of a ballad or poem out of the air, she she shrugged.
"When has any one not needed you" she smirked resting back on a tree and glancing up at the clear blue sky thew a gap in the trees. Although it was a clear day and warmer than it had been so far there was still a cold breeze in the air that stung Anya's ears and nose as it blew icily in to her face. "I don't know how any one could go a day with out your singing Much, alright then lift your sword" she teased drawing hers from under her dark brown cloak and brandishing it at him playfully."I thing you will be pleasantly surprised with mu progress."
Now that Anya had become an official member of Robins gang the need for her to be well practiced in sword play was a necessity and practicing seemed to take up allot of her time. So far she had been practicing very much alone using a tree as her a opponent or just the empty air in front of her but today she had something more substantial. With a step back she readyed her self for an attack from Much, she kept her feet apart and her mind focused on his movements. Anya had a strong need to prove her self which could be found some where in the back of her head and no matter how hard she tried it was never fully satisfied. Whether it was in fighting or knowledge she felt the need to prove she was as equally Strong and knowledgeable as any one else in the group.
