Robin put his hand to his mouth, swallowing down the feeling rising in his throat. "Please do not mention food."
He looked up at her, and could see the smirk on her face. Well, if she was going to be needlessly cruel, that was just fine. "You're not a very nice person, Marian." For some reason, when she looked at him he could see two of her. That was strange. Everything was moving in and out of focus.
He pushed himself upright, and immediately felt light headed. This had probably not been one of his better ideas, was all he managed to think as his vision went dark and he could feel himself falling.

Marian could not help a small giggle to herself at his reaction. So she was right, he was far from better. Looking over at him, she noticed he seemed rather woozy. Pushing herself from where she was standing, she began to walk over.
"You all right?"
Not long after she said that, she was falling. Moving as fast as she could, she caught him before he hit the ground, but the weight of his unconcious form made her fall to the ground, Robin's fall cushioned by her.
Sighing, she looked over at his bunk. It was not that far away, but she would hate to drag him. Reaching up for the wet cloth, she dabbed at him, hoping the cold water would wake him up.
"Come on my love, wake up just for a second."

Robin brought a hand up, pushing away the damp cloth. He opened his eyes to find he was on the ground, Marian holding him. "Did I just...well, that's embarrrassing." He pushed himself into a sitting position, a hand going to his head.
"If you say 'I told you so', I will kill you."

"Yes you did."
She grinned at his words, knowing he hated what he had done. Fainting in front of her would not be one of his proudest moments she guessed.
"I was not going to," she lied.

He laughed, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, now that I am down here, I think I'll just stay. Much easier."
He just looked at her, not believing a word of it. "Yes you were. You can't fool me, Marian. Any chance to take me down a peg or two." He closed his eyes again, letting out a slow breath, hating how ill he felt. "Even if you were right and I should have listened to you."

"Can you not just let me help you get onto the bed?"
She could not help the grin as he spoke, even if he was obviously very ill. Kissing his forehead, she held him in her arms tightly. Even it he was being a stubborn man, she did want to look after him.
"Did the great Robin Hood just say he should have listened to me?"

Robin nodded, reluctantly. "Bed does sound like a good idea."
He let his head rest on her shoulder when she held him, his tone light. "It must be a fever. I'm obviously delusional if I said I should have listened to you. What a foolish thought."

She let him lean against her for a moment, wanting him to get his strength back. After all, she would hate for him to stand again only to fall.
"Oh really? What else do you say or do in these delusions of yours?"
Taking a moment, she shifted him to her side, wrapping an arm around his waist and kneeling.
"You will have to help me."

"I don't know." He couldn't think of a suitable witty response, too tired to think of something.
Robin stood when she did, managing to stay upright with her hand around his waist, trying not to lean on her. When they had walked the few short steps, Robin turned and sat, an arm wrapped around his stomach. "I think if I lie down I will regret it, Marian." Passing out in front of her was one thing, losing the meagre contents of his stomach was another. That, he wanted to avoid.

Marian saw him grasp at his stomach, realising how nauseous he probably was feeling. Kneeling down behind him, she rubbed his back gently.
"Robin you need not be embarrassed in front of me," she said with a smile, before leaning her chin on his shoulder. "Robin when we are married you will not be able to hide such things from me. If you feel that bad, do not worry about doing what is necessary."

"Just because we will be married does not mean I will not be able to keep things from you." He squeezed his eyes shut, shaking his head as he spoke, knowing the words would upset her. "That's not what I meant."
He sat up straighter, groaning. "It would be a lot easier if everything would stop spinning." Laying back on the bunk, he didn't bother trying to move his legs, leaving them hanging over the edge.

Marian went to talk back to him, but took a deep breath. Now was not the time, he was ill. She could mention it to him when he was better, even though she knew he would probably brush it off as some strange thing he said because of the illness.
She watched him fall back, but she stayed on her knees, hovering above him. He really must be exhausted, and fainting not long ago can not have helped.
"Do you need anything?" she asked gently.

Robin shook his head slowly, his eyes staying closed. "Could you just..." He couldn't ask her, not able to say he just wanted her to stay, to let him know she was there. So he let his words trail off.
"Do you think about that a lot? When we are married, I mean." He wanted to focus on anything except how he felt, and knew that his earlier words had upset her, particularly because she had not said anything.

She frowned when he stopped his request, sighing. Sitting back, she curled her legs underneath her, watching him. He looked so ill, with the stillness in his body and his eyes closed shut. At his question, she was glad of the latter, otherwise he would have seen her face flush.
"Yes," she said quietly. "I think about it whenever I get a chance to. Sometimes, it just pops into my head."
Maybe a bit of honesty would persuade him to talk to her.

He shifted slightly, looking up at her for a second before closing his eyes again. "What do you think about?"
He turned on to his side again, curling his legs up so they were not hanging over the edge, an arm still wrapped around his middle. "I think about Locksley," he admitted quietly.
