Guy
I have taken my father to a place of safety. His health has greatly deteriorated whilst we have been in the castle and I can not watch him suffer anymore.
I appreciate what you have done for me these last few weeks, but I would be grateful if you did not try and find me.

We are safe, you do not need to worry. I trust those who are looking after us with my life, and I have no worries at all.
I am sorry, I can not tell you where I am. If the Sheriff found out you knew, I would hate to think on what the consequences would be. You have not forced me away, I have to protect my father.

Exactly why I shall not tell you, if the Sheriff decided to hurt you because of me I'd never forgive myself.
They have been friends with my father since he was a boy, I have never once doubted them. I know I can trust them.
Guy, I am being generous enough by writing you when I can. Is that not proof enough that I am well?

I will do what I can, but I can not promise regular letters.
i am grateful for your words, and if I need your help I shall let you know. But you really need not worry over me. I am most capable of taking care of myself.
