Robin would always refuse to get it, wouldn't he. Will just wasn't interested in words and jokes. Didn't Robin understand that they had been through the same thing, just in different places. Sure Will knew that Robin's life had been hell in the Holy Land. Will understood that's why he could not utter a single word about it other than 'Richard'. And that his life had been destroyed here. HeRobin was willing to give up all that he had had, all for England and his Marian. Did Robin understand that Will had lost everything as well. He had lost any chance with Marian, and then he had had the rest of his life destroyed. Did Robin understand or care about the times that Will had laidhis life on the line for him, and for what .... for this?"
Robin's sarcastic remarks, his deigrating comments, were lighting the kindling of Will's temper. Did he not think that Will had a fuse of his own that could be lit? The fire was lit in Will's eyes, but did Robin not see it, or would he just choose to ignore it. "Its fine to see that you give them as much or more credit than you give me," he said through partially clenched teeth. "At least you grace them with at least that, and that is a blessing for them. I will do what has to be done .... no more and no less .... trouble is not a consideration .....other than the fact that I won't be here to challenge or trouble you further. However, you would have not talked down to me as you have if I were still considered one of the gang. I should have known from the beginning that I would never be considered anything other than a child. I'll guarantee that, at he very least, though, that I'll be remembered."
