The dark figuer rode easly threw the steets of the village before moving, over in the direction of a watering troff where, they could water there horse. The figuer woar a cloak that hid there face. But at times there was the light filcker of somthing black under the cloak, could it be armor? If so what did this mean?
A knight of Prince John or kinght of King Richard, it could be ether one if it was a knight just, as it could be who ever the person was.
The horse was black as night but, of the rided little could be seen of them.

Prince Johns was out riding, cheeking on those that owed taxes, as well as punish those that could not. Many had already payed there taxes & few had yet to fearful of what would happen to then if they did not pay.
Prince John hardly ever agreed to let one work of there taxes off by, become a servent. But then there where times that he would but, many simply found that they ether lost there homes, there live stock, where sent to the work house or worse sent to pression. The last was rare since he knew, that to do so he could not get money out of them.
