"I do not like the thought of you risking yourself just to check up on me."
Allan couldn't help the pang of guilt rushing over him at her words. There she was, worrying over him and his safety when in reality he was just there to betray her lover to his sworn enemy.
He had never felt so low about lying and fooling someone as he did right now, with Marian's innocent eyes staring back at him.
"Come, we can try and get you out a way no one will notice you."
He suddenly felt self-conscious all over again as she quickly seized his wrist, leading the way. And he could just nod his head as he followed her, without uttering a single word.

Marian was a little concerned when Allan didn't fight back when she began to lead him, but eventually took it to mean that he knew she would not give in. She had to make sure he got out safely. The gang meant a lot to her, they believed in the same cause and they shared the same goal that she did, and she cared deeply for each of them. So of course she was not likely to let them get into trouble when she could help.
Realising she was still grasping his wrist, she dropped her hand, smiling a little shyly at him. She kept quiet as she walked, careful not to mask the sounds of people coming closer. After all, they'd have to hide very quickly and if they heard the footsteps when they were far too close, they would not get out in time.
"It may not seem it, but I am grateful. Just in future, please don't come alone. I would rather you didn't come at all, especially if you were to be caught, but I am thankful. And I do realise that you would do anything for Robin, I am sure he would be thankful too."
