Anya lifted her long bow up and aimed for the tree a few yards away. The tree already had several arrows sticking out of it, some high some low but none of them on the X she ad carved in it as a target. The bow, being a long bow made Anya's small frame seemed even smaller as she cocked her head to the side trying to get in a better position. She pulled he right arm back slowly still concentrating on the target in front of her, took a deep breath and released the arrow. Anya dropped the bow to her side to watch where the arrow would stop. As if in slow motion the arrow flew through the air in a perfect straight line until the last second when it fell and hit the base of the tree. I guess not enough power, Anya thought glaring at the arrow.
"Aghh" she groaned avoiding the urge to stamp her foot like a toddler in a trantram.
With heavy steps she trudged over to the tree to collect the 5 arrows. One arrow was far to high for Anya to reach even on her tip toes. She placed a hand on the tree for support and her feet on the raised roots of the tree trying to push her self up to reach the high arrow. No luck. With one last scowl at the tree and the high arrow she turned to walk back to her fireing spot , the wind rippling the large cream mans top she wore. It was almost mid day and for once Anya had gotten up quite early with out maybe it was because Little Johns snoring had not kept her up all night for the first time. All this early morning bow practice had made Anya hungry but she had refused to let her self eat until she had hit the target. This could be a long and hungry morning.
With her determined look firmly set on her face Anya raised her bow once more. It was unusual for Anya to stick with a task for more than an hour.If it was a usual day Anya would have given up after the first few shots and gone off to the next task she wouldn't not complete. For something like this she need to have some one to help her ,some one like robin or even Allan but Anya was far to proud to go running and ask.

Djaq was gathering leaves in the forest with certain medicinal properties. She always makes sure she has a variety of different herbal remedies, after all you never know when you might need something. She bent down and reached her hand down to pick up a mulberry leaf when a beetle scurried out from under it and made her jump back and bump into Anya.
"Sorry Anya"
Djaq backed away and sat down by the stump of a nearby tree and picked up a stick that look perfect for an arrow. She took out a small knife from a pouch and she began to carve the end of it making it sharp enough to pierce through skin.
"How is your aim improving ?"
She stood up and passed the newly carved arrow to Anya. Although she liked her, Djaq was slightly jealous of Anya as she was getting more attention, being the new girl in the group. Everyone seemed to treat her as more of a girl than her. It made her feel a bit envious.

Anya lifted the long bow up once more, cocking her head to once side as she aimed for her mark. This time she would hit it her aiming was perfect nothing could go wrong she finally had it. Anya pulled her arm back and ...
"Aghh!"
Something bumped in to her leg sending her arm up in shock, the arrow went flying in the complete wrong direction and stick in to the bark of a tree. Anya starred after it her face frozen in disappointment and disbelief. God was punishing her for something that had to be it Anya was sure of it then she looked down and saw Djaq crouched beside her. She gave Djaq a "why me" glance before trotting off to collect the stray arrow where she pulled it out with more force that was necessary.
"Deja i had it that time!" she wined using the long bow as a prop as the returned to stand beside Djaq " I give up I never want to see a bow and arrow again".
She was bing mellow dramatic but she didn't care she was so fed up of the bloody thing she could snap it if she had to try much longer. Anya hated the feeling of defeat and was worried that if Robin found out how much trouble she was having with her aim that he would kick her out of his gang. Of course that was radicals but she was worried none the less.
"I smell lets go for a swim" Anya seat sniffing at her over sized man nuts she had womanized with a leather waist belt. Anya had been waiting for a chance to go swimming for a month now but with the little oasis sat far close to the camp for her to have the courage to go alone In cass of being caught. With Djaq it would some how feel saffer , it didn't make seance.

Djaq looked up at Anya to see her annoyed face. She didn't really seem look angry Djaq, more so at herself and her aim. She did not quite know what to say without making her more angry so she just sat there looking sorry. Picking up another stick she began to whittle at it whilst looking at Anya who she did not want to disturb while she was moaning.
She wanted to encourage Anya, and did not want her to just give up after one little mistake, caused by Djaq of course. Djaq stood up and walked over slowly to Anya making sure she did give her a fright or make her jump, or else she might get angrier. She tapped her on the shoulder and waited for her to turn.
"Keep trying, you will get better in time Anya"
She smiled slightly without showing any teeth and stepped back a bit. She had smelled Anya. She must not have washed in quite some time as she was smelling like Little John. She did not want to be mean but she had to tell Anya that she smelled simply awful. Just because they lived in the forest with a bunch of men, it did not mean they had to smell like them.
"You Stink."
Djaq belted these words out, she said it in a way that sounded rude but it was unintentional. She looked away from Anya trying to not to make eye contact. Djaq was also in need of a wash, but there was not really any place to wash without being seen by somebody.
"We cannot wash here, we will be seen!"
Djaq was not happy about the thought of being caught stark naked, again. What if Will saw her again? That would be awfully embarrassing. She really did need a wash though, and so did Anya. Everyone was quite busy anyway, they were away in Locksley helping the villagers again.

“I am not getting better I think im getting worse agghhh”
Anya threw the long bow down and rolled up the over sized man shirt to reveal her thin wrists. Her hands where dark with dirt from spending a whole morning using a bow and arrow and collecting arrow after arrow from the ground she really did need a wash. How was Robin ever going to take her seriously if she could not even hit a simple mark?
“Yes I do but I doubt any one in this forest bar you would even notice. I however would not like to smell like a man”, Anya resisted to urge to say smell like little John it was unfair to single him out. “There away no one will see us and it’s not to cold! Would you rather I smelled? Plus we never know when we may have the chance for a swim again.”
With out giving Djaq time to argue Anya turned on her heels and jogged off in the direction of the slow moving lake. The lake was a relatively clean lake surrounded by tall trees on either side. The outlaws mostly used it for drinking water and for cleaning wounds and when there was time a swim but as Anya and Djaq where girls the chance for a swim where slim. The may be outlawed and living in the forest with a group of smelly guys but they where still ladies and a lady did not go swimming with a man after the age of 6.
Once by the lake side Anya propped the bow by a large evergreen tree and stripped down to the bare minimum and slowly made her way in to the water. Its icy coldness made her breath catch in her chest and it took her a couple of seconds to pluck up the currage to fully dive under. Anya loved the feeling that came with swimming under water incassed in its icy blanket. She stayed under the water as long as her lungs would allow her then went kicking to the surface. Braking threw the surface and threw her head back to get her hair out of her eyes sending little droplets of water flying.
"Coming in?" Anya called out to her friend trying to stop her teeth from chattering together with cold.

"Yes I suppose you are"
Djaq laughed out loud after teasing Anya, she decided there was not point in pretending to Anya that she was doing well, she might as well the tell the truth. Djaq was not really one for lying, unless she really had to. She wanted to help Anya with her aim, but she did not want to be patronizing.
"They will be back soon"
Djaq was not to keen on the idea of going swimming just then even though Anya did smell the worst she ever had, she did not really want to risk getting seen, especially not by Allan. He would most likely mock her. She watch as Anya rolled up her sleeves and just smiled at her, ready to back out of the swimming idea. After all, she did not need a wash, she was hardly smelly, but it could not hurt having a quick wash.
"Okay, I shall join in the water, but quickly"
She watched as Anya walked over to the water, Djaq looked away as Anya began to undress. Djaq had a strong feeling that she would be caught bare in the lake. Djaq turned around when she heard Anya moving into the water. Djaq walked over to the water, slowly and nervously removed her rugged waistcoat. She reluctantly removed the rest of her clothing. She dropped all her clothes and left them by the bottom of a nearby tree She bent down and dipped her finger in to test the temperature of the water.
"You lie, it is too cold. I will wash tomorrow"
Djaq tried to back out of going in but Anya had not heard her ask and so she asked her if she was coming in. Djaq knew there was no backing out now, she tightened her fists and tensed up as she entered the water so it would not be too cold. She was absolutely freezing.
When Djaq was quite deep in the water she jolted round as she heard movement from the trees. She knelt down in the water so only her head was sticking out. She scanned through the trees to see if she could see anyone but she couldn't. Maybe she was imagining it, or maybe it was simply just an animal.
"Did you hear that, they are going to see us!"

Allan was distractedly making his way back to the camp, enjoying the warm sun on his back and the unusual full sensation coming from his stomach.
At least working with Gisborne gave him the advantage of being able to steal something a bit more eatable than the outlaws' usual suppers. And this was definitely today's case since he was just coming back from one of those meetings... a well roasted chicken having been his unexpected -and gladly greeted- lunch.
A light step characterized his journey through the forest, from where he had been sent a couple of hours earlier to deliver food to the poor. Thing that he had of course done... before slipping away to meet with Guy.
Shaking away the guilty feeling in the pit of his stomach, he even started to whistle, deciding to enjoy the sunny day... until he heard something not far from him.
He immediately stopped, suspiciously looking around.
He wasn't being followed, was he?
Though the sudden panic for having been busted from one of his fellow outlaws soon died away as he realized the noise was actually a voice... coming from his right, and not from behind himself.
Careful of not giving his position away, he slowly made his way towards said spot... suddenly jumping from behind a bush with his bow ready to fire.
...Only to find out he was aiming at the well known figures of Djaq and Anya, both deeply emerged in the lake, with only their faces peering outside the water.
After the first shock a cheeky grin curved his lips upwards.
"Oh, hey there my ladies."

"Did you hear that, they are going to see us!"
Anya raised an eyes brown and then splashed some water toward Djaq. There was no one around and the forest around the was still except the light hearted singing from a bird some where in the tree tops. With out warning Anya sunk down again in to the murky blackness her eyes wide open she swam a short way before returning to the surface. The cold air still came as a shock as it hit her face and her hair fell over her face like a curtain. One bad thing about swimming was the fact that if you had long hair it would stick to your face preventing you to see and can lead to awkward situations.
"Relax no ones going to" her words caught in her throat as her eyes landed on Allen standing not to far away. Oh dear god, where the only thoughts that came to mind, why had she not listened to Djaq. This was a stupid idea after all and the worst person who could come along had. All Anya wanted to do was sunk under the water and never come up but she was never one to back down. She was in a pickle she being stubborn to death would not risk being seen by leaving the water but then on the other hand she would refuse to stay in the water and have her duration of stay be determined by Allan.
"You dirty creep, Spying on girls" she said finding her voice. Her cheeks had gone pink with embarrassment at being caught and now she realized they where both stuck in the water until he left. Now she wish she had stuck to smelling like a man instead of being corned like a dog. "Are you not you meant to be off With Robin!"
Why on earth wasn't he with Robin? Why did he have to choose to wander through this part of the forest today. Was it bad luck or had he over heard Anya and Djaq discussing it? If he had over heard Anya planned to make his death even slower and more painfully that it was already going to be when she finally was able to leave the water and get hold something metallic and sharp.

Will hummed as he walked casually though the forest. Spring had just begun, and some of the trees still lay bare after winters toll. However, the air was warm, and the winds were gentler. With a soft smile, the lone boy moved steadily along the winding path.
He had just been out with Robin and the other members of the gang, this glorious day was the perfect time to give out extra food to the peasants. ALthough the heat was always a blessing, it dried th ground out, and meant that food became a little more scarse. Now wasn't too bad, but food was becoming short, and so, Robin had decided that all the men would go out and help.
As Will grew nearer to the camp, he heard a sudden spalsh that made him jump, his hand flashed to his sword and he looked to his right, standing stock still. Close-by, he could hear footsteps, and now, Will hid himself bhind a tree, glancing through a bush and seeing the glistening surface of the lake. Ripples danced acrsss it's pale surface, and he noticed two figures. Ah, it were only Anya and Djaq. Breathing a silent sigh of reliefe, Will made to step forward when he head more footsteps. He peeped round the tree and saw that it was Allan. Odd, he were coming from the opposite way of the village, where had he been? Now that he remembered, Will was sure that Allan had dissapeared as soon as the others had ran into the village to dispense their food. Odd. Will shrugged off his suspicions and decided he was safe, he moved forwward from his hiding place to stand beside Allan, and stopping short in surprise. Ah, he hadn't realised that the girls had stripped right down, of course it made sense, but it still shocked him, and Will's innocent eyes widened a little, before he had the courtasy to look away back into the forests. At Anya's words, he frowned and turned to glance at Allan.
"Yes, were did you dissapear too when we went to the village? We all saw you running, but we thought it was just that you were going to feed other peasants deeper in the village. Where did you go?" Will asked out of interest. He was too concious of the naked outlaws to focus much on Allan, but he tried his damn hardest. It wasn't that he didn't like girls, more like he wasn't a perv. Noticing Allan's earger eyes, Will nudged him, prehaps a little harder than nessasary. Will was always the courtious one, then again, it was Allan that was the most earger when it came tot the opposite sex.
"Good day ladies." Will greeted them politely, still refusing to look at them.

"You dirty creep, Spying on girls"
Allan tried to hold back a laugh at Anya's outraged tone... failing miserably. As Djaq glared at him as well, he innocently spread his arms, ready to plead his cause.
"Hey, it's not my fault if you decided to jump in," he pointed out "I just heard a noise, how was I supposed to know it was you two? Really, you should know better than strip off your clothes with all these men hanging around... shame, shame." He teased, amused by the soft blush quickly creeping over Anya's cheeks.
The girls were probably ready to retort something, just as he was ready to torment them a bit more; when he heard a distinct noise of steps beside him and turned to find Will at his side.
He grinned at his friend, nodding his head towards the girls... but Will looked rather uncomfortable than amused as he immediately turned his head on the other side.
The trickster was going to make a cheeky remark about this, when the talented carpenter piped up, in a somehow louder voice than usual.
"Yes, were did you dissapear too when we went to the village?"
Allan almost paled for a brief moment; he wasn't sure if Will really suspected something or if he was just -desperately- trying to find something else to focus on.
Luckily for him, he had learnt to be a quick thinker, and so he swallowed lightly, popping out a couple of silver coins from his trousers' pocket.
"Wanted to try a new trick at the tavern before coming back. Apparently it worked." He cuckled, his voice a bit edgy "Is that a crime now?"

" No it's not a crime." Will sighed, was it him or was Allan a little bit...nervous? Prehaps he was truly worried about the trick. Will shrugged off the feeling of suspicion. To be honest, he didn't often trust people, in fact, Robin and the outlaws were the only one's he did trust, and his brother, of course, so he couldn't help being suspcious.
Still unsure what to do, Will sighed. " We'll leave you ladies too it." Will called to the woman, tugging on Allan's arm. " Come on, stop staring, you seriously need to get youself a woman Allan, i think your freaking Anya and Djaq out." Will chuckled, attempting to get Allan to move back toward the camp. It wasn't that he hadn't seen a naked woman before, more that it felt wrong to be intruding on them this way.

"I just heard a noise, how was I supposed to know it was you two? Really, you should know better than strip off your clothes with all these men hanging around... shame, shame."
Anya shivered as the coldness of the water began to get to her. She glared at the two young men with annoyed eyes. While they where standing there chatting she was shivering in an ice cold lake like a fish, what a nice thought never did Anya think she would compare her self to a fish. It was becoming hard to hold her temper only the fact that she was in nothing but a thin vest stopped her from lashing out at them.
"You weren't meant to be in the forest,"she spat trying to control her chattering jaw.
Anya was glad that one of them had the decency to look away but it didn't soften her anger she was feeling at the present moment. She would most likely go in to a huff refusing to eat or speak to any of them until the initial embarrassment wore off and hunger set in. At that moment she realized just how hungry she was, so hungry she felt almost sick. Anya was not having the best start o her morning and her strop would no doubt ruin the rest of it. Anya was the kind of girl who would cut off her own nose just to spite her face.
"Allan, i think your freaking Anya and Djaq out."
Anya nodded her sopping wet hair irritating her face as it rubbed against the cold skin of her cheek. (sorry my mind has not been fuled with any coffee yet )

Djaq had her eyes peering out of the water, her cheeks were a scarlet red, but you would not notice as she was hidden by the water. She shook her hand at the boys who were stood just outside the water. She was signaling to them to go away so they could get without being stared at by a couple of guys.
"Leave us be!"
Djaq lifted her mouth out of the water for a few moments to shout at them. She did not want them to see even her face for some reason. It made her feel uncomfortable, after all she was almost naked under the water. She decided to pluck up the courage and lift her head and neck fully out of the water. She slowly stood up a bit and ran her hands through her short, black and soaking wet hair.
"Anya, I thought they were away somewhere else....Locksley?"
She edged over closer to Anya and splashed a large amount of water in her face, she thought she might as well try and warm herself up if she was going to be in the water for ages. Allan and Will almost looked like they were ready to jump into the water with them.
"Will, Allan, I think I heard Robin calling for you..."
She looked at Anya and gave her a small wink and tried to hide her face in case any trace of lying was shown.

Will bit his bottom lip in a well of fustration. He didn't mean to aggravate the woman, he had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time, and Allan was still staring. He raised an eyebrow as he nudged him again.
"Sorry, Anya, Djaq. We were in the village giving out food, but we finnished early, and we were wondering were Allan had gone...and what was for lunch." Will grinned briefly, tugging Allan toward the forest.
"Come on Allan. Don't you feel even the tinest bit weird staring at Anya and Djaq? I mean, they're not just girls, they're our friends?" Will mused, he felt it hard to look at the two, with their current situation, but Allan seemed to be enjoying it. Rolling his blue eyes, Will heard Anya chattering with cold and he felt bad, they were getting cold.
"Lets just go. We'll talk to you later girls. " Will called to them, ignoring Djaq's hopeful lie. Will turned away fully to look at the forest, waiting for Allan to move too.

"Alright, alright, I'm coming!"
Allan finally agreed, lifting both his arms in surrender as Will lightly pushed him forward.
Though, before following his fellow outlaw on his path, he didn't miss the chance to be his truly self once again.
And so he mocked a bow, flashing the girls a mischievous smile. "I'm sorry my ladies, it seems like we have to continue this nice little chat at some other time." He joked.
"ALLAN!"
He startled at Will's yell, the dark haired boy was always a few steps ahead of him.
"Coming!" He called back, not without suppressing a frustrated groan, as he sped off behind the older Scarlett brother.
