Prince John rode into town, the small town. There where several town people that looked his way & where just as quick to go back to there own business.
He was fallowed by several of his men. When he came to a halt, he nodded to some of his men that dismounted before going to get the taxes that where do.
As ever John remain alert for trouble, for it was likely to come with him being king in his brothers absents.

Patricia was busy hanging the sheets on the long rope near her cozy stone-built cottage. Her hair was tied up in a usual bun with a fringe sticking out of it, her wearing her normal work clothes which she looked ravishing in this morning for some odd reason.
Someone had caught her ears, she looked up noticing- Well if it isn't the Prince of Darkness, thoughts scribbled throughout her mind.
Her tongue clicked, she did not want to give him any taxes of course, but if she didn't, she knew there'd be horrible consequences with that disgusting sheriff, she remembered the last time she refused, not such an amazing event that was.
She only looked away and walked over to another stack of sheets, her face went pale as cold white snow, she slightly gulped and began hanging the other sheets on the brown rope.
Stopping, she looked up at him with cold, blue eyes, nodding as she finished with her last sheet.
She went pale as his men came near her. She had no words to say, she looked towards her door then her eyes moved to the man in front of her. and with that she said. "I'm sorry sir, but I didn't earn any gold this week for I am unemployed." Her lips lost their color as she lied with braveness, but a sign of weakness could be noticed from her actions.

Prince John watched his men as they, got the taxes. He did not miss that a pesent look in his direction but, went back to what she was doing. He did not pay her much heed, she was below him. His eyes had went back, to some of his other men got taxes form other people.
The one gaurd heard her words & spoke "You have not money, you say perhaps time in the work house intell you have payed it off is better?" The man waited for her answer & he was ready to acted on his words if he needed. For he knew that it was not wise, to fail in collecting the taxes, with Prince John only a few feet away.

Much had walked to town to deliver a letter and small pouch, for robin to a lady in the town square. He hadn’t been told much about his task just that a poor peasant woman would be waiting for him in the square badly in need of some coins. Much hadn’t complained he liked the feeling that came along with good doing and the look on the faces of the people he helped. As he made his way through the town in the direction of Nottingham square he noticed an unusual amount of guards ahead. Nottingham was always teaming with guards but this was another thing entirely. There where literally hundreds.
Pulling his hood up over his head he quickened his pace wanting to get in deliver and leave as soon as possible. He was hungry and it looked as though it was going to rain so he didn’t want to be stuck in Nottingham any long than he had to be.
“Excuse me “ he said pushing my a large group of people who had gathered on the road side. What was this all about? what where they looking at?

As the man spoke she glared at him. His words gave her chills running down her spine. "T-the workhouse?" She gulped backing away slowly.
"N-not the workhouse." She wanted to make a run for it, she was poor already, she didn't want to give these evil monsters her taxes.
She knew the workhouse, her father used to work there because he did not have the money to do anything better. "Please sir, I can't give you anything right now."
She backed away a few more steps, her heart pumping and pumping. "Please sir, I don't want to." Her eyes shifted to the sheets, her feeling independent as always. "Not now. Not ever." She ran into her cottage trying her best not to start anything, she pulled out her bow and arrow. "For Nottingham.." She whispered, looking outside her window, glaring at the men, as a sigh came out of her mouth, she ran out of her home aiming the arrow at him. "I refuse to pay anymore taxes, sir." She whispered her words loudly so that the man can hear her, she knew she was out of her mind, but she refused, and when she refuses, it means she has no amendment to give this man her life support.

The guard heard her words, before she ran off. He signaled to some of the men with him, to go get her & then she would be taken to the work house. Then men did not get far before the woman, ran out headed for where ever.
She spoke words that she would not pay & with that the men where quick on her heals they would drag her back if need be. She would pay, in one form or another she would pay.
Prince Johns head snapped around in the direction of the commotion, what was it now. All he saw was a woman running off & his men in quick pursuit behind her. He dug his heels into the sides of his horse, as he moved quickly after her. The rest of his men that where on horse, did the same.
There was little doubt that they, would not catch her after all there horses where faster then anyone one foot. You could heard the pounding of the hooves of the horses as they ran after her, it was enough to make the ground shake.

This was not good this was not good at all. What was she thinking taking then on herself? He would have to do something these men would kill her for making such an uproar. And he would be killed for helping her and then he would never find eve and settle down at Boncherch. Why was nothing every simple! It was a good thing that Much never went anywhere with out his sword and rarely ventured in to Nottingham with out his signature shield.
People began to push back all wanting to get out off the way not wanting to get caught in the middle of crossfire .Much was pinned to the wall of a two story building unable to get free of the people who kept pushing back. “Get out of the way “ he tried but the villagers took no notice. Maybe he could find a way of grabbing the tall mans attention , giving the lady time to escape. Aghh if only these people would move.
“Can you please let me threw " Much tried again his temper raising as th sheep like villages bobbed about scared and confused.

Patricia never knew such horror would happen, as she ran at the speed of light, she hid behind a large rock. Her heart was pumping at a fast rate that she couldn't even keep up with her fast breaths.
Good thing her bow and arrow was with her at the correct time, she never knew why she began all this commotion.
Her dress flowed on the ground, she ripped half of it off until it now ended until Patricia's knees. She used the cloth as bandage for her own safety.
She kept her head high to notice anybody coming, for if anyone found her, she'd be ready.

Prince John had fallowed her but, with the people that moved to get out of his way alone with his men. She was not easly to keep in sight but, he did not miss that she moved in behind a large rock.
He drew back slowing his horse, as he looked to his men. Singaling them to go & get her, once that was done he would deside her fate.
The men did not wait the few that where not on horse that where, around moved to go & get her why, part of the men on horse moved closer to the rock half, of them when to the left to circle the rock & half to the right.

Patricia reacted as quick as possible, but was not in time, they had already caught her. She sighed pulling both her hands out for them to cuff her already.
Her mouth formed words. "Sirs, please don't send me to the workhouse, any place but there, I could work as a servant paying off my dues, but anywhere but the workhouse, I'll even obey your every order."
She slowly put down her bow and arrow and waited for a response.

Prince John did not miss, that they had caught her. He simply watched from where he was, for once his men had not failed in what he had ordered them to do. Perhaps it was for he had been with them, to see they did not fail.
The one gaurd heard her words & Simply spoke "It is not for an of use to deside but, that of Prince John" With that other gaurds moved to put cuffs on her, another picking up her bow & arrows.
The men that held her broght her before Prince John, as they waited for his orders on what to do with her..

Patricia glared down at the ground as they cuffed her, as the other guards placed their hands on her, she wanted to demand them to put their filthy paws off her, but she did not, for she knew the troubles.
As they took her bow and arrows, she felt something strike her inside, her eyes were still glued to the ground.
As they shifted her towards the Prince, she didn't even leave a breath, just kept staring down.

She glanced up at him as he asked her the question. She answered him fairly quickly. "I-I was running, sire', because I." She paused there, then continued. "I didn't want to die."
Her soft lips mumbled the words out as if she had done something very wrong. Her whole entire body was shivering.
"Sire, if you could only give me a job, better than the workhouse, I would be forever grateful, I will forever obey you, I will forever pay my dues, for I haven't been employed for three months."
Her dirty blond hair fell onto her face, her soft pale skin trembling, her blue eyes connecting with his eyes.

He heard her word, he was not one that bent to others words or wills. But she had some bueaty under, the dirt that was on her face. So it might prove better if he allowed her to work some where else other then the work house, he did not have to as more on what she ment by the work houe for she anwered him.
His eyes flickerd as his eyes conected with hers, before he asked one of his men how much she owed in taxes. Once he had his answer he spoke "Since you have sworn to obay me, I will allow you to work in the castle. So long a you obay me, you will not find your self at the work house" He knew a job would have to be found for her but, what it was would not be clear at this moment.
